FAQ | SAgro100 Auto-Steering System – Part 1 Signal Connection


During the past year, SAgro100 automated steering system has helped many farmers in different countries and areas improve their working efficiency and productivity. Our support team has also solved various technical questions for our users. In this blog, we have summarized the questions frequently asked by our users and provided relevant solutions, hoping to facilitate your use.

Questions during Signal Connection

Q1: The software status shows that the satellite is 0. 

Detailed description: 

In open sky view, the status shows SAT: 0, RTK status: NoGPS

Possible scene and solutions:

① After startup, the SAT is always 0.
Solution: Check whether the antenna port is loose or unplugged. If not, replace the cables or antennas.

② There is a problem in the ignition process.
Solution: The ignition voltage drop caused by battery aging is too large, which does not affect the use and will return to normal later.

③ SAT becomes 0 while driving
Solution: The battery voltage is unstable, add a voltage regulator module

Q2: The software status shows network error. 

Detailed description: 

Net Error is displayed in the upper right corner of the software.

Possible scene and solutions:

① The network is not enabled
Solution: Restart the network in Tablet Settings

② Carrier information is not obtained.
Solution: Select a new operator in APN and restart

③ 4G card failure
Solution: Replace with a new SIM card

Q3: The RTK status shows float. 

Detailed description: 

The satellite searching is normal (more than 20 satellites searched) but the RTK status shows float.

Possible scene and solutions:

① External radio mode

Solution: 

  • Check the installation configuration of the base station, try to install it at a high place, without anything blocking it, increase the transmit power of the base station, and try again.
  • If it doesn't work, change the transmit frequency to another frequency channel. The tractor should work within the working range of the radio base station.

② 4G mode

Solution: 

  • Check the network status.
  • Check the satellite search status of the base station, whether it supports full satellite systems.
